LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's track and field Athlete of the Week awards on Monday afternoon, and
Kristina Tapia (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) earned Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honors after a stellar performance at Ocean Breeze on Friday.
Tapia finished second in the 3K at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout at Ocean Breeze on Friday night with a PSAC Qualifying time of 10:01.74, which also served as a new PR and is the fastest time in the PSAC so far this season.
The effort also ranks in the top five in team history and is the fastest time for West Chester since 2022.
West Chester will be back in action on January 17 at Alvernia for its first meet of 2026.
