INDIANAPOLIS- Susana Ungo Quero (Madrid, Spain) finished 11
th in the 100 fly in 54.87 seconds after earning her spot in the finals with a time of 55.07 in the morning prelims to lead the West Chester University women's swimming and diving team at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.
Ungo Quero earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in the 100 butterfly with her 11
th-place finish, marking the second year in a row in which she has achieved this honor in the 100 fly after also placing 11
th in her final season at Emmanuel University in 2023-24.
Ungo Quero will compete in her final event of the Championships tomorrow, the 200 fly, while
Maddy Koehle (State College, Pa./State College) will also return to the pool to compete in the 100 breaststroke before swimming in the 200 breast on the final day of competition on Saturday.
