WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The Gymnastics East Conference released its First and Second Team All-Conference selections on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the Gymnastics East Conference Championships in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon. West Chester landed three Gymnasts on the All-GEC squad as
Jordan Coleman (Bowie, Md.) was a second-team selection on bars, while
Lily McFarland (Baltimore, Md.) and
EmmaGrace Kelly (Bradenton, Fl.) were second-team honorees on beam and floor.
All GEC honors are determined by National Qualifying Scores (NQS) scores, with the top six scores earning first-team honors, while the second-team is the following six scores, including ties.
Coleman and McFarland both make their fourth consecutive All-GEC appearance as Coleman has been named to the All-GEC team on bars each of her four seasons with the Golden Rams. McFarland has a similar history as she has now been named to the All-GEC team on beam each of her four years, including first-team honors in each of the previous three years. McFarland is also making her first appearance as an All-GEC selection on the floor exercise.
Coleman earned her spot on the bars team with an NQS of 9.705 after scoring a season-best 9.750 on multiple occasions throughout the 2025 season, with the most recent instance being against SUNY-Cortland and SUNY-Brockport on February 1.
For her part, McFarland earned her Second Team honors on beam and floor with scores of 9.770 and 9.785, respectively. On beam, McFarland scored a season-high 9.825 on two separate occasions, doing so for the first time on February 1 alongside SUNY-Cortland and SUNY-Brockport before duplicating this effort on February 23 in a quad meet at Ursinus. On the floor, McFarland saved her best performance of the year for last, scoring a career-high 9.9 on the floor against Cornell, which helped West Chester record a team score of 49.175, which was a new season-high. This effort also landed McFarland Gymnast of the Week honors from the GEC, marking the second time this year in which she has earned a weekly honor from the GEC.
Kelly, a two-time GEC weekly award winner as well, is the lone first-time honoree for the Golden Rams as she concludes an outstanding rookie season with Second Team honors on both beam and floor with scores of 9.750 and 9.775, respectively. Kelly recorded a season-high of 9.800 on two separate occasions on the beam, doing so first on February 1 against SUNY-Cortland and SUNY-Brockport before repeating this effort on February 16 at William & Mary. On floor, EmmaGrace registered a season-high score of 9.825 on two-separate occasions as well, doing so first in a quad meet at Bridgeport on January 25 before repeating this score the following week at home against Cortland and Brockport.
