CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's track and field squad was back in action this weekend at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University.
Lily Palacio Lewis and
Katja Larsen took fourth and sixth in the 100 in 12.48 and 12.65 seconds.
Morgan Pera and
Cate Hildebrand finished fourth and fifth in the 100 hurdles in 15.52 and 15.64 seconds.
Rebekah Burnshaw led West Chester in the 400 with a 12
th-place finish in 1:01.06 while
Ellie Goldberg was 14
th in the 5000 in 18:25.23.
West Chester also took second in the 4x100 relay in 47.92 seconds.
Annika Hummel won the pole vault with a mark of 11 feet 11 ¾ inches (3.65 meters), while
Kaylie Groff was second with a mark of 11-5 3/4 (3.50 meters).
Tiffany Kuras finished 10
th in the javelin with a mark of 106-2 ¼ (32.37m).
Jade Salmon was 12
th in the high jump with a mark of 4-9(1.45m).
Katie Pieslak took fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 36-9 (11.2m).
