Hummel and Palacio Lewis Earn USTFCCCA Outdoor All-Region Honors

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its Women's Track and Field Outdoor All-Region squad on Friday and West Chester had a pair of honorees in three events as Annika Hummel (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) was named All-Region in the pole vault while Lily Palacio Lewis (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) was honored in both the 100 and 200.
 
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
 
Hummel enjoyed an outstanding 2025 season, which included a new program record in the pole vault as the WCU Last Chance Qualifier with a mark of 12 feet 5 ½ inches (3.80 meters) before finishing fifth at the PSAC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 12-0 ½ (3.67m) following an Conference crown in this event at the end of the indoor season.
 
On the track, Palacio Lewis was a two-time Conference Champion at the PSAC Outdoor Championships in both the 100 and 200, setting new program records in each event as well. Palacio Lewis captured the 100 crown in 11.89 seconds before winning the 200 title in 24.12 seconds.
