LEWISBURG, Pa.- Amanda Marquis finished off her busy weekend of competition on Monday with the final three events of the women's heptathlon at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Monday afternoon at Bucknell.
Marquis climbed from 11th after day one to 10th (just eight points out of ninth) with a final score of 3,746 points as the top Division II finisher in the field. Marquis finished sixth in the long jump with a mark of 16 feet 3 inches (4.95m), along with a 12
th-place finish in the javelin (71-3; 21.72m) and an eighth-place finish in the 800 in 2 minutes and 33.32 seconds.
West Chester will be back in action next weekend at Widener for the Paul Donahue Invitational beginning on Friday afternoon.
