SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.- The West Chester University women's track and field squad was back in action on Wednesday night as a small contingent of Golden Rams traveled to Shippensburg for the mid-week PR bonanza hosted by the Raiders. West Chester competed in field events only on Wednesday evening, with the majority of its action taking place in throwing events throughout the evening.
Kaylie Groff finished fourth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 11 feet 7 ¾ inches (3.55 meters), while
Hannah LaFave joined her in the top-10 with an eighth-place finish and a mark of 10-2 (3.10m).
Zhayria Washington took fourth in the shot put with a mark of 38-9 ¾ (11.83m), while
Emma Deyarmin was ninth with a mark of 36-7 ½ (11.16m).
Deyarmin also finished eighth in the discus with a mark of 125-0 (38.09m) while
Adrianna Bryant was ninth in the hammer with a mark of 131-9 (40.17m).
Tiffany Kuras took sixth in the javelin with a mark of 114-6 (34.89m).
