WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The Collegiate Sports Communicators released its men's swimming and diving Academic All-District selections on Wednesday afternoon and West Chester had three student-athletes honored as
Dalton Fink (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), Kolos Nagy (Szazhalombatta, Hungary), and Tyler Czeiner (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) were all recognized by the Association for their efforts in the pool and in the classroom.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 and compete in five competitions
OR finish in the top eight at a conference meet.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 22, 2025 (women) and April 23, 2025 (men).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II and III Academic All-America programs.
Fink was a two-event finalist at the 2025 PSAC Championships, finishing first in the 100 backstroke in 48.93 seconds, along with a fourth-place finish in the 200 backstroke in 1:51.16.
Nagy, the Swimmer of the Meet at the 2025 PSAC Championships, was a four-time finalist and three-time Champion in the conference meet, claiming conference crowns in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 back in 1:47.96, 3:53.61, and 1:47.16, respectively. Nagy also took third in the 500 free in 4:28.40. At the Division II National Championships, Nagy competed in the 500 free, 200 back, 200 IM, and 400 IM, advancing to the evening finals in the 400 IM, where he finished 10
th in 3:52.71, to earn Honorable Mention All-America honors. Nagy also set a new conference record in the 200 back, touching the wall in 1:46.08.
Czeiner earned his honor after an outstanding final season in the diving well for West Chester, which concluded with a host of top-six finishes at the Pennsylvania Division II Diving Invitational hosted by Clarion. On the first night, Czener took fifth in the six-dive one-meter board competition with a score of 233.20 before finishing fourth in the 11-dive three-meter board competition with a score of 388.40. On the second night of competition, Czeiner took sixth off both the one and three-meter boards with scores of 369.05 and 224.00, respectively.
