WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University's men's and women's swimming & diving programs each ranked among the Top 15 in the country as the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized its Scholar All-America teams for their outstanding academic achievements.
To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.
West Chester's men's squad tied for 13th in Division II and held the second highest GPA among Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) institutions while the women tied for 12th nationally and was also second among PSAC schools. The men's team put three representatives and the women's team landed five on the individual Scholar All-America list.
Danny Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn),
Devin Metger (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) and
Kolos Nagy ( Szazhalombatta, Hungary) were the men's swimmers honored. Dani Stewart (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney), Bella Kil (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro), Madelyn Koehle (State College, Pa./State College Area), Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) and Sam Trumble (Dallastown, Pa./Dallastown) were the women honored.
West Chester's men's team posted a 3.48 team GPA during the spring semester while the women's team posted a 3.69 team GPA in the spring. In Division II, Fairmont State posted the highest men's team GPA at 3.76. On the women's side, Catawba and Lynn shared top honors with team GPAs of 3.87.
