PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) released its Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-District team on Monday afternoon, and
Madelyn Koehle (State College, Pa./State College) added yet another award to her growing trophy case as she earned a spot on the team.
Koehle is one of 10 student-athletes on the 2025 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Women's Swimming & Diving Team, which is selected through voting conducted by the sports information offices of 30 institutions in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, an athlete must be in at least their second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better.
Koehle an All-American at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships in March, earns her third Academic honor of the month with this recognition as she was also named to the Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Winter Top-10 squad.
With her recognition by the PSAC office with the prestigious PSAC Winter Top-10 award, Koehle became the 53
rd West Chester University student athlete to be honored as a PSAC Top 10 award winner and the eighth different women's swimmer. It marks the fourth straight in which a Golden Rams swimmer has represented the Purple and Gold on the list.
Koehle became a three-time First Team All-American in the 200 breast this season as she finished eighth at the NCAA Division II Championships in 2:16.98, while also competing in the prelims of the 100 breast and 200 IM. At the PSAC Championships, Koehle helped West Chester to its 22
nd crown in as many Championships with a first-place finish in the 200 breast in 2:17.21, along with second and third-place finishes in the 100 breast and 200 IM in 1:04.24 and 2:04.62, respectively.
Quinn Weygandt of Swarthmore earned PhillySIDA Women's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Year honors.
