Crago Named PhillySIDA Academic All-Area

Full Release
PHILADELPHIA, Pa.-
The Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) released its Academic All-Area at-large teams on Wednesday morning. West Chester University women's rugby player Brooke Crago (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) was named Academic All-Area for her efforts on the field and in the classroom.

Crago is one of 10 student-athletes on the 2025 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Women's At-Large team, which is selected through voting conducted by the sports information offices of 30 institutions in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.

In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, an athlete must be in at least their second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better.

A 2024 NIRA First Team All-American, a 2023-24 NIRA Scholastic All-American, and a 2024 Collegiate Rugby Championships All-Tournament team honoree, Crago adds to her growing trophy case with this honor on Wednesday. In the fall, Crago scored two trys and was a key piece of the Golden Ram defense during the fall 15s season to help lead West Chester back to the NIRA Division II semifinals. This spring, Crago leads the team in scoring once again with 17 trys and four conversions for 93 points heading into the Collegiate Rugby Championships in Washington, D.C. this weekend.
