West Chester is in search of its third straight and conference-best 27th crown this weekend. Golden Rams' head coach Ginny Martino is looking for her 16th title as leader of the purple & gold. The loop's coach of the year in the Eastern Division each of the past two years guided her charges through the regular season undefeated for the third straight campaign. Leading the way this spring has been senior Keri Barnett (Glenolden, Pa./Archbishop Carroll), who was named the tournament's most valuable player in 2023 when the Golden Rams won the title. She will set out to try and accomplish something only two former women's lacrosse players have done in the PSAC since 1995 – win two tournament MVP awards in her career. Only Katelyn Martin (WCU – 2005, 2006) and Teri Minzola (WCU – 1998, 1999) have accomplished that feat.

The Golden Rams enter Friday making their 37th appearance in the PSAC Tournament. They have only missed the tournament five times since its inception in 1979. Martino has only missed the tournament once in her career on the sideline (2000). This is West Chester's 24th straight campaign in the conference tournament. West Chester is an astounding 49-10 all-time in the PSAC Tournament.

West Chester is No. 1 in the US Lacrosse Magazine poll and No. 2 in the IWLCA coaches poll. Slippery Rock is ranked seventh in the US Lacrosse Magazine poll and No. 12 in the IWLCA coaches poll.

East Stroudsburg is No. 16 in the US Lacrosse Magazine poll and No. 14 in the IWLCA coaches poll. Seton Hill is ranked 18th in the US Lacrosse Magazine poll and No. 16 in the IWLCA coaches poll.

The eventual PSAC Tournament Champion earns an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse Tournament. The selection show for that tournament will be Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.

West Chester shows a 1-0 record against Slippery Rock in the postseason and a 15-0 mark against The Rock all-time in the series. The Golden Rams are 5-0 in the PSAC Tournament against Seton Hill and 14-1 all-time against the Griffins all-time. West Chester shows a 6-1 mark against East Stroudsburg in the PSAC Tournament.
