Northborough, Mass. – For the second week in a row a West Chester University women's lacrosse player was recognizedon the national stage as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) offensive athlete of the week it was announced by that organization Tuesday afternoon.

Keri Barnett (Glenolden, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) joins teammate
Madeline Edinger (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) as back-to-back honorees from the organization.
Barnett led West Chester in scoring with six goals and nine points to help the Golden Rams advance in the NCAA Tournament with a 17-11 victory over Limestone Saturday. She also caused three turnovers in the game and grabbed six ground balls to show her versatility of playing at both ends of the field. Her six goals extends her PSAC record of goals in a single season to 111. Her three caused turnovers also upped her conference high total to 56. She currently leads the PSAC in scoring and in defense.
Barnett leads her teammates into the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division II Tournament this Saturday when Slippery Rock visits West Chester at 3 p.m. with a trip to the national semifinals in Salem, Va. on the line.
