Bristol, TN.- With team and individual victories in its first two Tournaments of the season, the West Chester University women's golf team will look to continue its exceptional start to the season in Tennessee this week as the Golden Rams descend upon the Country Club of Bristol for the two-day King University Invitational. Play will get underway with the first round on Monday, with the final round being played on Tuesday.

West Chester picked up its second win of the fall last Tuesday at the Millersville Fall Classic with a 36-hole score of 618 (313, 305), led by a 1,2 finish from
Cara Murphy and
Hanna Lignell. Murphy finished the Tournament at nine-over (+9) with an opening round 77 and a second-round score of 76. Lignell fired a 74 in the second round to improve upon a first-round 82 and climb into second at +12.
Taryn Brandt was the third and final Golden Ram in the top five at +13 as she shot an opening round 78 and followed it up with a 79 in the second and final round.

Cara Murphy picked up PSAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors after earning her second career victory in as many starts.
