BRISTOL, TN.- Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) signed for a two-under-par 68 to sit in sixth on the individual leaderboard and lead West Chester to a tie for third in team standings with an opening round 278 at the King University Invitational on Monday afternoon.
Roth was joined in the top-10 by
Yamato Kimura (Kuwana Mie, Japan/Monteverde Academy) in seventh at one-under as he signed for a 69. Roth carded birdies on the par-four fifth, par-three eighth, par-five 14
th, and the par-four 17
th and 18
th holes to finish out his round. Kimura carded a birdie on the par-five ninth to turn at one-over par before carding birdies on the par-four 13
th and par-five 14
th to finish his opening round at one-under.
