BRISTOL, TN.- Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) shot a bogey-free round of 65 on Tuesday afternoon in the second round of the King University Invitational to climb from sixth on the individual leaderboard to first at -7 (68, 65; 133) and help West Chester to a third-place team finish with a two-day score of 554 (278, 276).
Roth carded birdies on the par-four first, par-four fifth, par-three eighth, and par-five ninth to turn at four-under before carding a final birdie on the par-five 14
th as he climbed five spots to earn his first individual crown.
Patrick Carl (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) also climbed into the top-10 with a one-under 69 to finish the Tournament at even par in a tie for ninth (71, 69; 140).
Tusculum claimed the individual crown with a team score of 546 after shooting a 275 on day two, finishing seven strokes clear of Young Harris and eight clear of West Chester.
