West Chester had four freshmen in the starting lineup at Towson University last weekend. Head coach Barb Cordova knew she had a young team this winter. However, she will look to see where the most improvement is between meet one and meet two. That is where the focus will be for the Golden Rams on Sunday. One of the bright spots for West Chester last weekend was in the exhibitions. Some of the routines there may eventually find their way into the lineup for Cordova and the Golden Rams.

West Chester witnessed two career-highs being equaled and four freshmen competing in the scoring lineup, homever, host Towson University downed West Chester by a score of 195.325-187.9 last Friday evening.

Sr., Sarah Eskew (Pittsburgh, Pa.) anchored the uneven bars for the Golden Rams in the first rotation of the meet by posting a team-best 9.75 that was good for fifth individually in that event. Melina Ringas (Glen Allen, Va.) scored a 9.65 for West Chester.

Sr., Karah Vargo (Fort Myers, Fla.) equaled her career high on the vault with a 9.5 effort in the third spot of the lineup. West Chester posted a 47.675 on the vault overall.
