Men's Track and Field Set for Moravian Hounds Indoor Classic at Lehigh on Saturday

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University men's track and field team is preparing for its second meet of 2026 this weekend at the Golden Rams head to familiar ground, Rauch Field House at Lehigh University, for the Moravian Hounds Indoor Classic on Saturday morning. Action is set to get underway at 10 a.m., beginning with the 60-meter hurdles and a number of field events. Check out the full schedule here. West Chester returns to action on Saturday after a successful start to 2026 at the Alvernia Winter Invitational last weekend and had a great return to action after just over a month-long break from competition.

Last Time Out
 Andre Jackson-Littlejohn (Royersford, Pa./Spring Ford) finished fourth in the 60 meters in 7.01 seconds, while Ege Gunaydin (Delran, N.J./Delran) picked up a fourth-place finish of his own in the 60 hurdles in 8.72 seconds.

David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) led West Chester in the 200 in 22.63 seconds, while Terry Dweh (Darby, Pa./Penn Wood), Xavier Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill), and Evan McCracken (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) all finished in the top-10 in fifth, sixth, and seventh in 22.84, 22.92, and 23.02, respectively.

Kevin Wickizer (Roaring Brook Township, Pa./North Pocono) led West Chester in the 400 with a 12th-place finish in 53.97 seconds.

Thomas Smith (Wallingford, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) led West Chester in shot put with a ninth-place finish and a mark of 44 feet 1 ½ inches (13.45m), while Brodyn Wolfert (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) led the Golden Rams in the weight throw with a 23rd-place finish in 40-0 ½ (12.20m). Smith was 25th with a mark of 39-0 ½ (11.90m).

Jake Jones (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) took second in the pole vault with a mark of 14-7 ¼ (4.45m), followed by Seth Tshudy (Phoenixville, Pa./Great Valley) in fourth with a mark of 13-7 ¼ (4.15m). The effort by Jones also served as a PSAC Qualifying mark.

Chase Parkinson (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 46-1 ½ (14.06m).

Ronald Leraris (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) took ninth in the long jump with a mark of 21-0 ½ (6.41m).

West Chester won the 4x400 with a time of 3:30.09 to wrap up the men's track events for the afternoon.

West Chester will be back in action in split-squad action next weekend at the Bucknell Multi, Widener Schuylkill Showcase (at Penn), and the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston.
