PHILADELPHIA- The West Chester University women's rugby team (1-4) is set to return to the road on Saturday afternoon with a visit to Philadelphia to take on La Salle (3-2) on DeVincent Field, which is also the home of the La Salle baseball and field hockey teams, beginning at 12 p.m.

- West Chester enters play on Saturday afternoon following a 17-0 loss to Navy in West Chester on Sunday afternoon. West Chester played better than the scoreboard indicated, coming five meters or less away from a try multiple times throughout the first half and again in the second half, but the Naval Academy defense stiffened when it mattered most as the Midshipmen held off West Chester for the 17-point victory.
- Nina McDowell (Mercersburg, Pa./Mercersburg) is first on the team in scoring with two trys and five conversions for 20 points on the year, while Christelle Adikpeto (Abomey Calavi, Benin/Moon Area) is second in scoring with a team-best three trys for 15 points. Addy LaCarrubba (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) has two trys of her own for 10 points, with both coming in the win over Mount St. Mary's earlier this month.
- La Salle enters play at 3-2 on the season after a 48-30 loss to Navy on October 3 at DeVincent Field, which halted a modest three-match winning streak that had begun with a 27-7 win over Army, continued with a 25-17 win over Mount St. Mary's, and concluded with a 76-0 win over Temple on DeVincent Field on September 26th.
- West Chester's last 15s clash with La Salle came in September 2010 at La Salle when West Chester picked up a 32-5 victory over the Explorers.
- Saturday's game is the penultimate road matchup of the season for West Chester as the Golden Rams will have their final regular season road trip next Saturday to Frostburg State before hosting LIU on November 8 beginning at 12 p.m. in the regular-season finale.
