WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's track and field team is preparing for another busy weekend of action as the Golden Rams will compete in both Boston and Philadelphia this weekend, beginning on Friday. West Chester will send a small contingent to Boston for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, while the remainder of the team will head back to the Ott Center on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania for the Widener Indoor Classic on Friday and Saturday.
With PSAC Championships fast approaching at the end of the month, West Chester heads into the weekend following a strong showing from a small group of Golden Rams at the Fast Track National Invitational at Ocean Breeze last Friday.

Nikolien Bezuidenhout (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) competed in the long jump invitational and finished 10th with a mark of 16 feet 4 ¾ inches (5.00 meters). Bezuidenhout also competed in the triple jump, finishing fourth with a mark of 37-0 (11.28m).
Gabby Curtis (Harrisburg, Pa./C.D. East) led West Chester in the 60-meter dash with a fifth-place finish in 8.09 seconds.
Abigail Hanneman (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro) led West Chester in the 400 with a 12th-place finish in 59.30 seconds, followed by
Rebekah Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) in 28th in 1:00.56. Hanneman also led West Chester in the 200 with a 21st-place finish in 26.42 seconds.
Emma Deyarmin (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) led West Chester in the shot put with a 10th-place finish and a mark of 37-6 ¾ (11.45m), while also finishing 10th in the weight throw with a mark of 45-1 (13.75m).
Izabel Zajac (Auburn, Pa./Blue Mountain) led West Chester in the college division long jump with a 20th-place finish and a mark of 14-4 (4.37m) before finishing 17th in the triple jump with a mark of 32-7 ¾ (9.95m).
West Chester wrapped up its day at Ocean Breeze with a seventh-place finish in the 4x400 relay in 4:09.14.
