DAY 2 RESULTS
YORK, PA – West Chester swimmers won three more events as the Golden Rams continued to flex their muscles by extending their lead after the second day of competition at the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Swimming Championships inside the York YMCA Thursday evening.
West Chester now leads the field on the team leaderboard with 495 points to build a 256-point lead over second place Gannon, who moved past Bloomsburg to take over the second spot with 239 points. The Huskies are close behind with 229 points while Clarion is fourth with 209 points.
Senior
Kolos Nagy (Szazhalombatta, Hungary) captured the conference title in the 400-yard individual medley for the fourth straight year while also bringing home his ninth individual conference championship in the process. His time of 3 minutes, 53.46 seconds broke his own meet record of 3:53.61 set two years ago.
The Golden Rams swept the top four spots in the final standings and also claimed seventh place in both the 'A' Final and 'B' Final.
Ryan Lee (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) was runner-up to Nagy in a time of 3:57.40 while
Nathan Noel (Destrehan, La./Destrehan) was third in3:57.46.
Szymon Kapala (Olsztyn, Poland) touched the wall in 3:59.68 to take fourth place, and
Grant Schwalm (Dover, Pa./Northeastern) was seventh in 4:05.60.
Kai Hang (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) finished seventh in the 'B' Final for a 15th place overall placement.
Marti Rosell Diez (L'Albiol, Spain) won the 200 freestyle while the Golden Rams put four swimmers in the 'A' Final of that event. He touched the wall in 1:37.97 while teammate
Paul Demesy (Saint Ulrich, France) placed third in 1:40.17.
Danny Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) placed fourth in a time of 1:40.28 while
Jacob Texter (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) was eighth in 1:42.36.
Noah Shand (Brighton, Mich./Brighton) was third in the 'B' Final putting him 11th overall.

Chadd Corson (Wernersville, Pa./Wilson) and Nagy won first place in a time of 3:18.12 to close out Day 2 with West Chester's third conference title of the day and seventh of the meet.
Day 3 of the PSAC Swimming Championships gets under way Friday morning with prelims at 10 a.m. in 500 free, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 200 butterfly. The 200 medley relay will be competed in the evening session with the finals in the individual events mentioned above.
