Last Time Out
West Chester returns to action after an 80-74 victory over Shepherd on Wednesday night in West Virginia, which gave the Golden Rams the season sweep of the Rams once again in 2026. The first half was tightly contested, featuring 10 lead changes, but West Chester never trailed in the second half, using a 19-9 run to build a lead and eventually lead by as many as 15 with 2:51 to play. Shepherd responded with a late 10-0 run, which was the game's longest run by either team, and it was enough to cut the deficit down to single digits, but it was too little too late as West Chester held on for an 80-74 victory over the hottest team in the PSAC East on Wednesday.
Ruben Rodriguez Jr. (Reading, Pa./Reading) finished with 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field and was one of four Golden Rams in double figures as
Anthony McCall (Philadelphia, Pa./ANC) scored 20, along with 17 from
Gabe Moss (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) and 10 from
Joe Sedora (York, Pa./Red Lion). Moss picked up his first double-double as a Golden Ram with a career-high 11 rebounds. West Chester shot 48.3 % (29-of-60) from the field in the win, including a 3-for-13 (23.1 %) effort from beyond the arc, while also going 19-for-25 at the line.

Perennially one of the top rebounding teams in Division II, West Chester holds a 39.7-30.0 lead in rebounding, along with a +2.9 lead in turnovers, averaging just 14.8 turnovers per game, thanks in part to 9.2 steals per game.
