WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) released its second set of Division II Regional Rankings on Wednesday afternoon. Today's rankings saw West Chester (20-6, 14-5) ranked eighth in the first numerical rankings of the 2025-26 season after last week's initial alphabetical rankings.
West Chester put its three-game winning streak to the test tonight on the road at Millersville, beginning at 7:30 inside Pucillo Gymnasium, a place that the Golden Rams have not won since 2019.
West Chester is one of five PSAC teams to appear in the rankings on Wednesday as Gannon (24-2) was ranked first along with Indiana (Pa.) (19-4) in fourth, California (18-7) in sixth, and East Stroudsburg (19-7) in 10
th as one of the first two teams out of the field. West Liberty (23-3) and Fairmont State (21-4) earned the second and third spots in the rankings, followed by Virginia Union (21-4) in fifth and Fayetteville State (20-6) in seventh.
This week is the final week of the Division II men's basketball regular season across much of college basketball, with the PSAC and Mountain East Conference Tournaments scheduled to be held next week. The CIAA wrapped up its regular season last week and opened its Tournament in Baltimore yesterday afternoon, with Quarterfinals scheduled for the next two days ahead of the Championship game on Saturday afternoon.
