EVANSVILLE, IN – Freshman
Marti Rosell Diez (L'Albiol, Spain) swam the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 38.13 seconds during the morning prelims of the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving National Championships Thursday.
Diez, who earned an honorable mention All-America certificate in the 1000 free on Wednesday, was competing in his second event of the national meet Thursday morning. He did not earn a spot in the evening finals.
The fourth day of competition opens up tomorrow morning with prelims in the 500 free where Diez will once again be back in the pool with teammate
Paul Demesy.
