BERLIN, Md.- The West Chester University men's golf team returned to the course on Friday afternoon for the opening round of the Battle at Rum Pointe at Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links in Berlin, Maryland.
Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) and William Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) are both in the top-30 after the opening round and West Chester is sixth on the team leaderboard with an opening-round score of 298.
Roth had arguably the hole of the day for West Chester with an eagle on the par-five 13
th, while
Yamato Kimura (Kuwana Mie, Japan/Monteverde Academy), Patrick Carl (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll), and
Nathan Radwanski (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) all carded birdies on this hole.
