Men's Golf Sixth After Opening Round of Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- William Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine Richland) fired a team-best two-over 72 in the opening round to sit in third on the individual leaderboard and help West Chester to an opening round 306, which is good enough for sixth on the team leaderboard after the first round of the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational at Penn Oaks in West Chester.

Hilton carded three birdies in his opening round, carding a birdie on the par-three sixth, par-four ninth, and par-four 10^th in a strong opening round, which saw him in contention around the top of the leaderboard throughout the opening round.

Division I Lafayette leads the team standings with an opening round of 295, while Sebastian Pell of Rider and Diego Ocasio of St. Thomas Aquinas are tied atop the individual leaderboards with even-par rounds of 70 to begin the Tournament.
