LEWISBURG, Pa.- The West Chester University women's golf team is set to return to the course this weekend for the Bucknell Fall Invitational at Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg. The opening round is set for Friday morning with the final round to be played on Sunday afternoon.

West Chester returns to the course on Friday afternoon after starting its fall season with a team title at the Vulcan Invitational at Cedarbrook Golf Club in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania. West Chester finished the event, which was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather with a score of 611 (306, 305), led by
Taryn Brandt (Denton, Md./North Caroline) and her third-place finish at six over with back-to-back rounds of 74 (74, 74; 148) to begin the 2026-27 season.
Fatima Rizvi (Lucknow, India/RPS Academies) started her season with a top-five finish of her own, placing fifth at +7 (74, 75; 149).
The Field
West Chester will compete alongside a Division I laden field, which includes Bucknell, Mercyhurst, La Salle, Mount St. Mary's, Saint Joseph's, Fairleigh Dickinson, Columbia, Wagner, Le Moyne, Manhattan, New Haven, Albany, and Duquesne.
