LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's soccer Athlete of the Week honorees on Monday afternoon and
Jordan Nguyen (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Central) earned her first career Offensive Athlete of the Week nod after scoring four goals last week.
Nguyen scored four goals last week, including a hat trick against Mansfield on Saturday to help the fourth-ranked West University women's soccer team to a 1-0-1 week. Nguyen has now scored in each of the Golden Rams' last three games, scoring five goals in that span after scoring the first goal at Shippensburg on September 12th, the tying goal vs. Millersville on September 16th, and the eventual game-winner in a 5-0 win over Mansfield on Saturday. Nguyen scored her hat trick in just 28 minutes of action against Mansfield on Saturday, scoring her first two goals in the 19
th and 22
nd minutes before completing the hat trick in the 48
th minute as she became the fourth Golden Ram in the last three seasons to score a hat trick.
West Chester returns to action on Wednesday night at Kutztown beginning at 7 p.m.
