PRINCETON, N.J. - Michelle Gerlach and Emily Reifsnyder scored second-half trys to lead West Chester to a come-from-behind 15-7 victory over host Princeton in an EPRU women's rugby contest Saturday morning.
The win pits West Chester (3-2) against Princeton in the EPRU Division I championship game in three weeks.
Gerlach scored in the 47th minute to put the Golden Rams on top 10-7, and Reifsnyder added an insurance try in the 78th minute to push the final to 15-7. Laura Meier scored a try in the first half that gave the Rams a 5-0 lead. However, Princeton's Angela Yue scored and the Tigers converted the two points to take a 7-5 lead into the break.
