WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University topped PSAC rival Millersville, 3-1, in the afternoon and then knocked off Glenville State, 3-0, in the nightcap of the tri-meet at Hollinger Field House.
West Chester (15-11, 4-9 PSAC) picked up a conference win over Millersville (10-21, 3-11) and a non-conference win over Glenville State (9-17). The Golden Rams dispatched the Marauders in three straight after dropping the opening set 19-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-19.
Kelly Martin registered 17 kills and hit .457 while Lexi Kegerise posted 12 kills and hit .455 in the win over Millersville. Helen Fitzpatrick collected 36 assists and both Lisa Campbell and Nora Jingeleski had 12 digs apiece.
The Golden Rams knocked off Glenville State in straight sets 25-20, 25-15, 25-13. Martin hammered down nine more kills in that match. Fitzpatrick had 18 assists and Campbell 13 digs. Ashley Focht collected five kills as well.
