West Chester Visits Millersville For PSAC East Opener Saturday

Game Notes

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Golden Rams gridders open up PSAC East play this Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Millersville. West Chester University is looking to halt its two-game losing streak and get back to playing typical West Chester football.

Millersville (1-2) is coming off an impressive showing against No. 21 Indiana (Pa.) last week while West Chester (1-2) fell in its home opener against California (Pa.).

Last season, running back D'Andre Webb rushed for a school record 306 yards and posted four touchdowns in a 41-10 win over the Marauders. Millersville has not beaten West Chester since 2002 as they look to end a personal six-game slide against the Golden Rams.

West Chester's defense is ranked 20th in the country and second in the PSAC. It's run defense is particularly stingy when it comes to giving up yardage. None of West Chester's opponents have registered a 100-yard rusher against the Rams this year.
