WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Senior Dan DePalma posted 180 yards receiving and three touchdowns while classmate D'Andre Webb rushed for 140 yards and a pair of scores as West Chester defeated Millersville, 45-14, in a PSAC football game at John A. Farrell Stadium Saturday afternoon.
It was the senior class that shined the brightest on Senior Day, led by DePalma and Webb. Defensively, senior DE Travis Ford-Bey registered 3.5 sacks and five tackles overall. West Chester's defense sacked Millersville quarterback Bill Shirk a season-high six times in the game and limited the Marauders to 263 yards of total offense.
Sophomore QB Mike Mattei threw for 217 yards and three TDs. The Golden Rams racked up 607 yards of total offense and averaged 9.8 yards per play.
West Chester travels to Indiana (Pa.) for the season finale next Saturday.
