MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Sophomore right-hander Jordan Lehman tossed eight innings of shutout ball and struck out 10 batters to lead West Chester University to a 4-0 victory over Post University Sunday morning at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.
West Chester (6-2) will take on Philadelphia University later in the afternoon.
Charlie Kelly went 2-for-4 and Kevin McGrath 2-for-5 to lead the offensive charge. Kyle Orensky was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
However, it was Lehman who stole the show and kept Post University off balance. He allowed just two hits and walked only one batter in the finest performance of his career.
