The Golden Rams’ men’s squad is coming in off an impressive defensive effort against the Marauders last Saturday afternoon. West Chester held Millersville to its lowest point total in a game since 1947, giving up just 13 points in the second half. Millersville hit just three jumpers from the field in that second half. Meanwhile, it was the Golden Rams’ ladies that experienced some shooting woes in the first half against the Marauders’ ladies. West Chester made just three of 27 field goal attempts. In fact, both teams combined to make just 29 of 108 fi eld goal att empts in the game altogether.
The men ended a three-game losing streak as senior Ralph Hegamin led the way with 16 points and 14
rebounds. He is averaging nearly a double-double per game this winter and is one of only three players in the PSAC that are listed among the top five in both scoring and rebounding statistically. Kehinde Roberts posted a game-high 20 points in the win over Millersville. He has 986 career points as he closes in on 1,000. He is 14 points away from becoming the third current Golden Rams’ player to reach that milestone.
The women saw their modest two-game winning streak come to a close against Millersville. West Chester is still in the hunt for a playoff spot and could fi nish as high as second place and host a first-round contest. However, the Golden Rams will have to do better against league opponents the second time around the division. Junior guard Megan Stewart is among the top three in the PSAC in both assists and steals. She is one assist away from becoming just the third player in West Chester history to record at least 100 assists in three straight years. Stewart is currently seventh all-ti me in school history in career assists.
Bloomsburg’s men are 8-12 overall and 2-6 in conference play. The Huskies and Golden Rams went to

Johnson is also among the league leaders with 51 steals on the year. Three Huskies average double figures on the men’s side. Adon El averages 12.0 ppg and 6.8 rebounds per contest.
The Bloomsburg women are a much improved squad. The Huskies are 13-7 overall and 5-3 in the conference - one game ahead of West Chester. Kayla Oxenrider was the PSAC East rookie of the week a week ago. She averages 10.4 points per game. Leading the team in scoring is Dana Wieller at 16.8 ppg.
