KUTZTOWN, Pa. – West Chester swept division rival Kutztown, 3-0, on the road Saturday afternoon in a PSAC East volleyball match inside Keystone Arena. The Golden Rams took the match in three straight sets, 25-17, 25-15 and 25-16.
West Chester (10-3, 2-3 PSAC) won its second straight conference outing while Kutztown (12-4, 2-4) fell behind the Golden Rams in the league standings.
Michelle Powers posted 21 kills and Kelly Martin added 11 to lead West Chester’s offensive onslaught. Lexi Kegerise notched eight kills and Allison Grammar four. Helen Fitzpatrick dished out 39 assists on the day and added three blocks. Lisa Campbell recorded 16 digs while Tyler Sheafer added 10.
West Chester travels to Shepherd University for a non-league affair on Tuesday evening.
