WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University's football squad celebrates Senior Day Saturday at 12 p.m. when the Golden Rams welcome cross-county rival Cheyney to John A. Farrell Stadium for a PSAC East contest.

The Golden Rams (5-3, 3-2 PSAC) will honor their 16 graduating seniors, along with three cheerleaders and 30 band members in a brief ceremony before the game. Cheyney (1-7, 0-5) is looking for its first win over West Chester since 1979.

WCU football is teaming up with WCU's Catholic Newman Student Association to "Help Hungry Neighbors Have A Happy Thanksgiving". West Chester's football team is asking fans attending the football game at noon on Saturday to bring "fixin's" for a Thanksgiving dinner to the game with them to donate for the cause. Everything but the Turkey! WCU football is asking fans to bring stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, or carrots, cranberry sauce and much, much more.

Saturday is also Scout Day at Farrell Stadium. Scout troops from around Chester County will parade before the game. After the game, West Chester University football players invite all children 12 years of age or younger down to the field to "Catch A TD Pass From A Golden Ram".
