WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University's women's rugby squad topped visiting Princeton University, 38-14, inside John A. Farrell Stadium Friday night in a non-conference women's rugby contest.
West Chester (6-3) has now won three of its last four, dating back to the fall portion of the schedule. The win avenges the Golden Rams' loss to fellow Ivy League school Harvard that opened the spring campaign.
Arielle Gant scored three trys and Nicole Benedetti added a pair of trys to lead the Golden Rams' contingent. Sophia Schwab converted four trys as well.
West Chester will host Kutztown University Saturday night at 6 p.m. inside Farrell Stadium as well.
