Alex Lean (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) put the hosts in front early with a goal in the 13th minute. However, that was the only offense Wes Chester could generate on the day as the Rams played short-handed with only three experienced starters in the first 11.

West Virginia Wesleyan netted the equalizer in the 55th minute, before scoring the game-winner in the 82nd minute.
