Slack Selected as Third Team All-American by United Soccer Coaches Association

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The United Soccer Coaches Association released its Division II men's soccer All-America teams on Thursday afternoon, and Owen Slack (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) earned Third Team honors after an outstanding 2025 season.

This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America ceremony on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.

Slack is the first Golden Ram to earn All-America honors since Andrew Markopoulos was named to the Third Team in 2023. Slack joins Kyle Hoops, Doug Goitia, and Andrew Markpolous on the list of United Soccer All-Americans mentored by head coach Michael Benn during his tenure in West Chester.

This is the latest honor for Slack, who was a United Soccer All-Region pick earlier this week and also earned First Team All-PSAC East and Second Team Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Region honors.

Slack was one of two captains for the Golden Rams this season and turned in an incredible senior campaign, scoring three goals and adding seven assists in the regular season, then scoring his first game-winning goal of the year on a penalty kick in the PSAC Quarterfinals and adding an assist in the PSAC Semifinals. Slack led the team in assists and played a significant role defensively, helping guide the Golden Rams back to the PSAC Tournament for the ninth consecutive year and to PSAC Championship weekend for the third consecutive year.

Slack is one of three players from the PSAC to be honored as Zander Leik (Millersville) earned First Team honors, while Sverre Orten (Gannon) earned Third Team honors.
