Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Senior
Molly Grammar (Center Valley, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) registered 21 kills to pace the West Chester volleyball squad, to its sixth-consecutive win and fifth-straight PSAC East victory, over host Millersville, 3-0 Saturday afternoon inside Pucillo Gymnasium.
Freshman
Jillian Grammar (Center Valley, Pa. / Southern Lehigh), led the Golden Rams (17-4, 5-4 PSAC) with 45 assists while registering eight digs to help West Chester outhit the Marauders (10-8, 2-7 PSAC) .379 to .120 and secure the win in straight sets (25-17, 25-13, 26-24).
Sophomore
Karleigh Lutz (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) recorded a season high 10 kills,
Samantha Agostini (Broomall, Pa. / Cardinal O' Hara added eight and
Allie Duffy (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle) chipped in with seven kills.
Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) was credited with a team-high 18 digs and
Callie Krajcir (Allentown, Pa. / Parkland) also reached double-digits with 11.
West Chester returns to action on Friday, when it travels to East Stroudsburg for a weekend against the west beginning with a match against Gannon that is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., then take on Mercyhurst Friday evening.
