Box Score EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Golden Rams road the momentum of winning a marathon first set, 31-29 enroute to a 3-0 victory over host East Stroudsburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference volleyball action Friday night inside Koehler Fieldhouse.
Freshmen
Allie Duffy (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle) recorded 13 kills and senior
Molly Grammar (Center Valley, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) added 11 to pace West Chester (13-4, 1-4 PSAC).
After prevailing in the 37 minute opening set (31-29), The Golden Rams captured the final two sets 25-17, 25-19, to secure its first conference win of the season over the Warriors (5-10, 0-5 PSAC).
Freshman
Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) registered a career-best 27 digs and
Bethany Gould (Camp Hill, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) added 14 digs to lead the West Chester defense. Once again
Jillian Grammar (Center Valley, Pa. / Southern Lehigh), led the Golden Rams with 34 assists.
West Chester returns to action tomorrow afternoon when it travels to Kutztown for another PSAC battle at 1 p.m.
