Clark Ties School Record For 3-Pointers; West Chester Downs Mansfield, 95-71

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Jr., G Jasmen Clark (Oley Valley) tied the school record for 3-pointers in a single game as host West Chester defeated visiting Mansfield, 95-71, in a PSAC women's basketball game inside Hollinger Field House Wednesday night.
 
West Chester (22-4, 18-4 PSAC) closes out the regular-season in second place in the Eastern Division standings and will host a quarterfinal round game in the upcoming PSAC Tournament. Mansfield closes out its 2014-15 season at 3-23 overall and 2-20 in the conference.
 
Clark finished with a career-high 28 points, going 8-for-15 from beyond the arc, to pace the Golden Rams. She equaled the school record for 3-pointers in a single game accomplished twice by WCU's all-time leading scorer, Kiesha Mack, in 2004.
 
Dallas Ely (Montrose, Pa./Montrose) finished with a double-double, scoring 14 points and dishing out 10 assists. She added five rebounds and five steals to her nightly totals.
 
Senior Serifat Junaid (Chesilhurst, N.J./Camden Catholic) fell one rebound shy of a double-double on Senior Night. She added 14 points and nine boards, before fouling out. In all, West Chester landed five different players in double figures. Brittany Sicinski (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) scored 11 points, and Anna Kuntz (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity) added 10.
 
West Chester shot 52 percent from the field in the game, including better than 50 percent from 3-point range. The Golden Rams were able to empty their bench for the third straight game as all 16 active players saw action.
 
West Chester is the second seed in the upcoming PSAC Tournament and will host the winner of No. 3 Shippensburg vs. No. 6 East Stroudsburg, which will be played Saturday in Shippensburg. Game time for Tuesday's quarterfinal will depend on whether or not there is a doubleheader with the men's team. A single game for the women on Tuesday would be played at 7 p.m. A doubleheader would be a normal 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. start times.
