BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - West Chester University's women's tennis squad will compete in the PSAC Championships hosted by Bloomsburg University this weekend. West Chester takes on Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the semifinals on Friday at 12 p.m.

The Golden Rams are the No.1 seed in the PSAC East, which is no surprise given their eight-match winning streak. Â West Chester has earned its best finish in league play since going 5-1 in 2010-11.

The Golden Rams are (6-0) in the conference, and 11-6 overall, while IUP (5-1, PSAC, 6-16 overall) finished second in the PSAC West, winning its last six matches, including a quarterfinal round contest against Mercyhurst on Tuesday..

Maddy Shaak and
Claire Uhle, helped pave the road to the championship as they remain undefeated in dual match play. The duo hopes to keep their 16-match winning streak alive as they head into the PSAC Championships. Both Shaak and Uhle have also thrived in singles competition, as they both captured their last six matches.

Abriana Nolan and
Alyssa Rees have also been strong competitors for the Golden Rams as they grabbed two wins in their last two matches.
