WEST CHESTER, PA. – West Chester University senior TE
Tim Brown (Clifton Heights, Pa./Upper Darby) was included in The College Football America 2015 Yearbook, which was released this week. The CFA selected Brown to the NCAA Division II Starting Lineup, an alternative version of an All-America team. The Yearbook features 936 college football teams from the United States and Canada.
Brown had a remarkable 2014 season, in which he caught 53 passes for a team-best 1,059 yards to go along with 17 touchdowns. His numbers for both yards receiving and touchdown catches set school records for both receiving and touchdown carries in a single-season for a tight end. In addition, Brown was named to both the 2014 D2Football.com and
Don Hansen FB Gazette first team All-America squads last year.
The Golden Rams open their season against Lenoir-Rhyne University at 6 p.m. on Sept. 3 at John A. Farrell Stadium. That game will be broadcast live by SportsFever Television and can be seen nationwide on ESPN3.
