Box Score

Rockville Centre, N.Y. - WCU Golden Rams brought home a big win against Molloy College with a final score of 92-19 Saturday afternoon. The Golden Rams connected on offense and were able to break the gain line on multiple occasions with hard strikes and a great performance by the backs.
Flyhalf Aalea Ray (Landisville, Pa. / Hempfield) was the first to put points on the board with a try. A beautiful conversion by Adriana Zeiders (Lancaster, Pa. / Hempfield High School) brought the score to 7-0. Zeiders quickly followed her kick with a try and another conversion kick after a try by Haley Spangler (Gettysburg, Pa. / Gettysburg). Zeiders was uncatchable on the sideline when she took the ball wide and scored the fourth try of the game. Another kick brought the score to 26-0.
Ray scored her second try of the match and another kick by Zeiders had the Golden Rams in the lead 33-0 when Molloy took advantage of an opportunity to score and put five points on the board. The Golden Rams retaliated with quick and aggressive play by wing Sophia Schwab (Oakland, Md. / Southern Garrett High School) who then converted her own try. The first half saw two more tries from both Schwab, Katie Haertter (West Chester, Pa. / West Chester East HS), and Ray. WCU ended that first half with a 52-5 lead over Molloy.
In the second half, Zeiders, Ray, Lizzie Groff (Glenmoore, Pa. / Downingtown East High School), and Aubrey Carol (Denver, Pa / Garden Spot HS) quickly boosted the score to 78-5. Sofia Schwab showed her talent as a consistent force on the field as she converted her own try again in the second the half. Molloy broke through the relentless Golden Rams and added two more tries and a conversion to their tally bringing the score to 85-19.

The Golden Rams refused to end the game on the back foot and a break by Schwab and a conversion put seven more points on the board for WCU.
The final score of 92-19 WCU demonstrates the Golden Rams' relentless attack and ability to break the gain line repetitively.
