INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – West Chester University's men's soccer squad will be making a return trip to the NCAA DII Tournament as the Golden Rams received the second seed in the Super Region 1-Atlantic Region it was announced Monday evening.
West Chester (13-2-2) makes its third appearance overall since moving to the ranks of Division II in the 1980s and its first repeat appearance in school history. The No. 2 seed is also the team's highest seed in the DII Tournament in school history and marks the first time that West Chester will host an NCAA DII Tournament game.
The field of 38 was revealed via a web broadcast on NCAA.com.

The West Chester Golden Rams will host third-seeded East Stroudsburg University Warriors on Saturday at Rockwell Field. Top-seeded University of Charleston (W.Va.) will take on West Virginia Wesleyan in the other semifinal.

West Chester fell to East Stroudsburg in the PSAC semifinals. The Golden Rams made seven trips to the big dance throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, before the NCAA split into three divisions, winning the NCAA national championship in 1961.
