DANBURY, Conn. - So., Tyler Maiman (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) was named the ECAC Division II Men's Golfer of the Month it was announced Thursday morning.
Maiman jumped from 19th to sixth in the Coaches Invitational Classic, while also capturing a hole-in-one in the process. Maiman was West Chester's top finisher in the three round event by shooting a 226 at the Crofton Country Club. The team finished third at the tournament. Earlier in the month, the squad claimed runner-up at the Browngolf Invite. Maiman contribute by producing a 26th place finish with a 154 (79-75).Â
This is the first monthly award from the ECAC that Maiman has received in his career, and the first for a West Chester golfer this season.
West Chester hosts the 8th Annual Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational on Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10 at Penn Oaks Golf Course on Rte. 202 in West Chester.
