MONTCLAIR, N.J.- Fresh off its first PSAC Championship since 2018, the West Chester University men's golf team will return to the course for the final time in 2025 on Monday for the opening round of the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championships at Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, New Jersey. The first round of the two-day, 36-hole Tournament is set to begin on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Golden Rams starting their Tournament on holes 10, 11, 12, and 13.

West Chester captured its first PSAC Championship since 2018 last weekend with a three-day score of 891 (295, 299, 297; 891) led by
Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox), who finished in a tie for fifth at +5 (73, 71, 77; 221).
William Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine Richland) finished in a tie for seventh at +6 (75, 76, 71; 222) after firing a final round of 71 (-1) to climb 12 spots on Sunday afternoon.
Patrick Carl (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) finished in a tie for 10
th at +8 (72, 78, 74; 224) while
Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) was 12
th at +9 (75, 74, 76; 225).
Yamato Kimura (Kuwana Mie, Japan/Montverde Academy) rounded out the team in 22
nd at +17 (79, 78, 76; 233).
The Field
West Chester will compete alongside a host of Division I programs as Wagner, Seton Hall, Manhattan, Fairleigh Dickinson, New Haven, Mercyhurst, and Saint Peter's will join the Golden Rams, along with Wilmington, which is the lone other Division II competitor.

2026 Loading
Tuesday's final round will be the last of the fall for the West Chester golf programs, as the team will not return to the course until March 2026. The 2026 half of the season promises to include a return trip to the NCAA Regional Championships after the Golden Rams won their first PSAC crown since 2018 earlier in October.
