WEST CHESTER, Pa. -
West Chester University returns home to John A. Farrell Stadium to welcome PSAC Eastern Division rival Millersville University on Saturday afternoon. It is Community Day at Farrell Stadium, and the Golden Rams and the WCU athletic department will recognize some local dignitaries from the neighboring borough's and townships. It is also Walk of Champions where West Chester honors the winter and spring programs from 2017-18 that won either a divisional, conference, regional or national championship.

Saturday's meeting is the 86th encounter between the two rivals and is the "most-played" rivalry on the books at West Chester University. The Golden Rams have won 68 of the previous 85 games between the two Eastern Division foes. Saturday's game will serve as the conference opener for both schools as well.

West Chester is coming off of a 59-14 victory over Seton Hill on the road last weekend that saw the Golden Rams put up 35 points in the second quarter and 49 points in the first half en route to the win. QB A.J. Long (Bethlehem, Pa./Friendship Christian [Tenn.]) threw for 275 yards, rushed for another 118 and was responsible for five touchdowns in the win. The 35 points in a quarter is the most on record at the school, which dates back to 1973. West Chester defeated Cheyney, 85-0, in 1958. However, a by-quarter scoring summary was unavailable from that contest. The 49 points in a half was the most by a Golden Rams team since putting up that many against Cheyney Oct. 27, 2012.
