ORLANDO, Fla. - West Chester University's cheerleading squad placed fifth in the All-Girl Game Day Competition at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Nationals held at Walt Disney Resort this past weekend.
With the team's fifth-place showing in the finals, West Chester topped its previous best finish and climbed into the Top 10 for the third time in team history and first time in the Top 5. The Golden Rams were the highest-placing Division II cheer squad in the competition.
West Chester advanced to the finals with a nearly flawless routine without a deduction. The Golden Rams then nailed their routine once again to claim fifth place in the final standings. Both routines were pulled off with zero deductions.
